I don't hate it, but im not in love with it either. I've had as much issues with 2500$ sofas as i have 500$ ones so I'm not married to buying expensive furniture. Since i have two cats, two dogs and 4 grandkids under the age of 14... Spending a ton of money on furniture doesn't make sense. I bullet pointed my thoughts below for those of you that are already bored from readingGood stuff:Easy to put together. Did it by myself in under an hour.Looks more expensive than it isCovers come off so you can launder themIt's quite large so fits my big living room wellSad face emoji stuff:It is really light weight so the 2 sections come apart very easily. I'm going to get some heavy duty Velcro to hold them togetherLegs are cheap plastic _ but for the price, what did i expectOttoman is super light weight and cushion doesn't stay put ( more HD Velcro)Ottoman came with a hole (see photos)Like everyone else has mentioned this couch is FIRM! Its not rock hard but it's far from cushy and comfortable.Material is very thin.Overall im satisfied with my purchase. We'll see how long it holds up.UPDATED: After rating this at 1 star, I have updated my review to 4 stars. Although I did receive the product damaged, the seller provided a sincere apology and issued me a full refund with no hassle. Better yet, I did not have to go through the challenge of returning the product which was one of my biggest concerns. I may not be able to use the couch I purchased, but good customer service goes a long way.Re: the sofa itself -- to be perfectly honest it's a little too firm for my taste and I was expecting a big comfy couch, but that is up to the customers liking (some people like a firm couch). In addition, if you fear that you're going to receive something completely different than what is pictured, no worries - the picture displayed is pretty true to what you get, as evident by the photos others have posted and even mine if you ignore the damage. Lastly, I would recommend the sofa to anyone with pets or children, as the fabric is extremely easy to clean, which is what I was initially on the lookout for, since I have a large dog that sheds.I hope this review helps. I know I rely heavily on reviews before making a purchase online.Yes it’s a easy couch to make be very poor on designing not look wise but structure wise not enough wood support for people with weight that is over the 203pound that not not good in my mind adding some support would go a long way to these couch I will love to be contacted by the seller to give my opinion how to improve the design because I do love the couch but it lacks structural integrity it needs to be updated on that now value wise if you look at some couches out of your nearby furniture store might be more or less then the one you see here just the wood structure is important to the value of the couchA lot of the slots where the back of the couch is supposed to slide into for a “30 minute assembly” were put in the wrong spots. It also smells a bit, not terrible and I’m sure with use it’ll go away but the assembly took a little closer to an hour since I had to drill new holes and align it myself. Oh and no instructions came with it. Once I fixed it up though the couch was pretty sturdy and comfortable to lay on. Also there seems to be an area where the cushion is too small.We have had this set for just over three years. We bought it for use in our loft area for three small children and occasionally adults. The sofa wasn’t all that comfortable from the beginning, but not awful since it was mainly just tiny people sitting on it. Over the last three years though, it has gone from bad to worse. It is easily the worst furniture purchase we have ever made. It sinks in in different places, you can feel the framework from underneath, the cushions are somehow both flat and lumpy at the same time. It’s really just awful. And this has not seen a ton of use either as it’s not in our main seating area in our home. I should have returned it as soon as I took it out of the box, but I foolishly thought it would be ok considering our kids were little and wouldn’t be putting a lot of strain on it anyway. The seams for the cushions also started to come apart fairly soon after purchase. I really regret not returning this item. The only good thing I can say is that it was fairly easy to assemble, but covers for bottom of frame didn’t match up correctly giving it a less than ideal finished look from some angles. I would not recommend this set or anything else this seller has to offer to anyone. Very poor quality and a waste of money.My wife and I are really enjoying this couch. For the money you spend, you really can’t beat it. With that said, with a cheap couch comes cheaper service. The couch took a few weeks to get to us, the directions on putting the couch together we’re really just pictures, with some cushions inside the velcroe fabric of the couch, we were very confused and thought we were missing cushions at first. The customer service only seems to respond between midnight - 6am EST.In terms of only the couch itself though, once we got it, figured out how to assemble it and started using it, we were very happy. A little firm, but we like that, and great spots to loung anywhere on the couch with the long sectional portion and the ottoman. Overall, great couch for the price. I would recommend it.
